Spenard Roadhouse is looking for a manager to join our Front of House team. This position will oversee dinner service and will include working evenings and weekends. This position can be part time hourly or full time salaried. We are looking for a person with a strong attention to detail to ensure that service runs smoothly and efficiently, and that our staff and guests are taken care of. Other job duties would include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating a skilled and productive front of house team.
Spenard Roadhouse is a locally owned restaurant and bar, serving contemporary comfort food in a casual, eclectic setting. We offer a fun environment with friendly people who strive to provide a quality experience. We are seeking someone who will help lead our awesome team to continued success.
Qualified applicants will have:

Strong leadership and communication skills
An ability to adapt and remain positive in a constantly changing work environment
Great time management and organizational skills
At least 2 years front of house restaurant experience
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time
Experience using POS systems and cashier experience preferred
Current ServSafe Certification or Municipality of Anchorage approved Food Worker Card
Training for Alcohol Professionals certification (TAP Card, issued by Alaska CHARR)
At least 21 years of age
