The Sunrise Inn in Cooper Landing, 1.5 hrs. south of Anchorage is looking for a full-time lead chef/cook. This position will be year-round. Experience is necessary. Must be able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Duties will include making soups, chili and chowder, simple meat cutting skills, ordering and inventory, overseeing other cooks, assisting when menu choices and specials. We are hoping to host some weddings, business retreats and local events this winter so the ability to plan and cook for larger groups is necessary. November, January and February can be slow so some days the chef is also the prep person and the dish washer. Fall and spring are reasonably busy, and, in the summer, we are slammed.
