Barista:

Cook:
Vagabond Blues is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our back of house team! We are looking for a self motivated individual with high standards for cleanliness and efficiency. Punctuality is a must, as well as a positive attitude open to constructive guidance. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, with skills as a line cook, prep cook, and soup cook. With an understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, recipes, multi-tasking and knife skills. Must be a dependable team player with an upbeat, motivated and positive personality! Job duties include;
- Follow proper food handling procedures, including cooling and storing at appropriate temperatures.
- Prep food items according to standard recipes with high accuracy.
- Rotate and organize stock, make sure all orders are put away in correct places (able to lift 50 lbs).
- Maintain inventory and pars to reduce waste.
- Work as a team to complete all line and prep items in a timely manner.
Baker:
Looking for experienced Baker for full time position.
Bakery items include breads from scratch, cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies, quiche, bars, rolls, quickbreads, frostings, cakes, biscotti.
Must be able to work consistently and be able to react to problems, in order to create a quality product.
Looking for someone who can work without supervision, be able to create nightly product lists, work independently and efficiently.
Nightly cleaning duties include restocking, dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning all surfaces and weekly chores.
Please have reliable transportation and be punctual.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
