Assistant Manager Position:
Must be reliable and responsible and preferably have at least one year of clinical experience working in an assisted living home or hospital, as a caregiver or otherwise. Must have great communication and basic computer skills and have some knowledge of MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY. CNA or Medical Assistant preferred. Specific duties include:
Notify administrator of any change to residents status: e.g. signs of illness, injury, allergic reactions, change in health/behavior, etc.
Communicate with residents, family members, caregivers, and physicians regarding care and changes in condition
Review resident documentation
Manage and review residents' medication logs
Schedule medical appointments for residents and arrange for transportation
Escort residents to medical appointments
Schedule employee shifts and managing staff
Review and manage supplies
Possible caregiving shifts available
The hours for assistant manager position are variable/negotiable but will generally be from 6 hours per day. The salary for this position is starting at $16/hr with possible overtime offered at 1.5 rates. This position is available until it is filled.
