Currently seeking compassionate, dependable, caring, and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals. We are looking for 3 individuals to join our loving TEAM. We are a privately owned assisted living home in Anchorage. Offering support and a caring living environment for clients with intellectual and physical disabilities. This is a full time position, 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Schedule to be determined at time of interview. This will be a rotational work schedule providing 24/7 care, including weekends and holidays. Day shift, Mid day, and Night shifts are available. This is a salaried position, competitive day rate to be determined DOE
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and trash removal
- Assisting with the self-administration of medications
- Supporting individuals with ADL's, including transportation (vehicle provided)
- Escorting Clients to their Day Habilitation and Appointments
- Provides assistance when needed for bathing and restroom use
- Supporting balance and mobility as needed
MINIMUM Requirements:
- 2 yrs prior experience in this field or similar
- CPR/ First Aid Certification (can assist in obtaining)
- Negative TB Test Results (must present at interview)
- Able to pass a background check (will process at interview)
- 3 professional references, 1 may be personal
- Current Drivers License with Clean Driving Record
