Certified Medical Assistant
Dynamic medical practice now hiring for CMA positions. We are open 7 days a week and are hiring professional and enthusiastic individuals.
CMA responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare patients for examination & treatment, obtains patient history, takes vital signs
- Performs routine laboratory functions – phlebotomy, urine samples, CLIA waved tests, prepares specimens for send out
- Administers injections, provides wound care, performs EKG, assists providers with minor procedures
- Enters accurate and true patient information into EMR
- Performs front desk duties when needed – check patients in and out, collects copays/coinsurance/deductible, enters demographics into EMR, etc.
- Answers phones and advises individuals accordingly
Position requires solid computer skills. Interested applicants should be able to operate Microsoft Office competently.
Team work is at the center of our office operations and it is critical that we hire someone who works well in small group dynamics and is an effective communicator.
Part and full time positions available.
Individuals available to work evenings and weekend needed.
