ÂDuties include, but are not limited to
Rooming of patients (vital signs, chief complaint, histories, etc.)
Assisting with procedures
Surgery scheduling
Stocking supplies
Phone messages, following up on appointments, procedures, and referrals
ÂKnowledge and skill requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer and typing skills including grammar and punctuation
Medical terminology, especially women's health and obstetrics
Ability to implement a prescribed care plan and document PHI accurately
Professional, personable and caring, and able to help patients feel at ease
ÂRequirements
Current Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (through NCCT, AAMA, or ARMA) certificate
Current CPR/First Aid
One (1) year clinical experience. Women's health or obstetrics preferred
Pass background check and drug screen
