The Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center is recruiting for a full time Float Provider to join our mission driven team. This position will require evening work and the ability to work a flexible work schedule that may fluctuate from week to week. Works closely will various team members and will rotate through the centers three medical pods. Must be able to see full spectrum of family medical patients. Training and experience to care for HIV/OB patients is preferred but not required.
SUMMARY OF POSITION: To provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients in a primary medical care ambulatory clinic setting.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a licensure in the State of Alaska as a Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Current BLS certification and unrestricted DEA license. Previous experience working with underserved and diverse populations is preferred. Interpersonal skills that demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and work with a multidisciplinary care team. Demonstrated competencies in dealing with all age groups. Bilingual preferred.
