We are in need of a live-in caregiver. We need a qualified person to work with our mother. Pay would be DOE and could be offset by free rent at her house.
Duties include:
Cooking meals
Assistance with the tasks of daily living, including showering and dressing
Transfer Assistance
Making appointments, escorting her to appointments, and helping her maintain accurate records.
Light household chores and cleaning (mainly laundry)
Provide medications and reminders
Administer peritoneal dialysis (hospital will provide training)
Incontinence care
Multitasking
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a State of Alaska criminal background check (we will pay the fee for you)
Must have current CPR/First Aid Certification
Must provide proof of a negative TB test
Must be able to provide 3 Personal and 2 Professional References
Speak English
Have a a current driver’s license
This is a non-smoking environment
