Katmai Eye And Vision Ce in Anchorage, AK is looking for one Optician to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 12570 Old Seward Hwy 104. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Optician responsibilities of fitting eyewear, repairs, ordering, receiving.
Styling and selling are very important
Problem solving prescription challenges.
Answering phones, making appointments, checking patients out, and helping with ophthalmic tech work when needed.
Contact lens teaching and ordering.
Qualifications:
Knowlegde and experience in ophthalmic lenses types, coating, materials and their parameters.
Skilled in eye glasses repairs and adjustments.
Timely, reliable, and a team player.
