We are seeking a dedicated Expeditor / General Laborer to join our Drywall & Painting company and support our ongoing projects with efficiency and professionalism.
Job Description: As an Expeditor / General Laborer, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate pick up and delivery of materials and assisting with on-site tasks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of drywall and painting materials, excellent attention to detail, and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
Expedite and coordinate the delivery of materials to job sites.
Ensure the accuracy in getting the correct materials and tools needed for each project.
Handle materials safely and effectively, ensuring they are secured and transported without damage.
Strap down materials securely in the truck to prevent shifting or accidents during transport.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Support team members with on-site labor tasks.
Communicate effectively with project managers and crew members.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of drywall and painting materials.
Experience in safely handling and securing materials.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to perform physical labor and handle various materials.
