Pay rate: $25 per large sign
Reports to: Kevin Groh
Position summary:
We are seeking an organized, hardworking person to coordinate the installation and takedown of large 4’x8’ campaign signs during the Anchorage Municipal Election in Spring 2026. This person will be responsible for delivering, constructing and taking down campaign signs across the Municipality of Anchorage.
The Coordinator will be an Independent Contractor of Ship Creek Group, and not covered by or entitled to any insurance or other benefits maintained by the company. They will be responsible for the operating costs of their work and must acquire the necessary tools, equipment or licenses to engage in these services and produce the deliverables, including but not limited to their own means of transportation, smart phone, cold-weather gear, etc. Drills, hardware and materials will be provided by the campaigns.
Ship Creek Group will advise on location and timing of sign delivery but the Coordinator will have full flexibility on their schedule. Applicants should be excited about local politics and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Responsibilities of the contractor will include:
- Yard sign delivery, and installation when requested
- Large sign installation
- Large sign takedown
