This is a full time or part time opportunity as a general shop/yard laborer in Anchorage. The typical business hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM. It is a busy environment with numerous tasks to be completed each day. This is not a skilled position, although experience is an advantage. Safety is very important. Safety training and gear will be provided with mandatory participation.
Compensation and other benefits will be based on experience and performance. Performance will be reviewed often, and compensation is subject to increase based on punctuality, willingness to listen/learn, and being able to perform tasks as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean, sweep and trash disposal
Truck and equipment cleaning, washing, and service checks
Landscaping and snow shoveling
Loading and unloading trucks
Stocking materials and organizing storage areas
Safety conscious and follow safety procedures
Qualifications:
Punctual – must have dependable transportation to work
Motivated and willing work independently
Follow instructions
Must have the ability to work in the elements all day
Must be capable to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work from a ladder
