Alaska Serigraphics is looking for a full time Graphic Designer/Illustrator for the Art Department. Solid drawing skills are a must. Needs to be proficient in Adobe Photoshop as well as vector graphics software such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. Experience with other illustration software such as Clip Studio Paint is a plus.
We are primarily an Alaskan tee shirt company and we need an artist who can work in different styles and has experience working with type. Portfolio samples that include wildlife and that demonstrate the ability to work realistically as well as in more cartoon or graphic styles are a plus.
Duties will include:
-Taking directions from clients to create custom tee shirt designs & logos and then to separate and prep the finished art for production.
-Modifying existing art provided by clients to fit their needs.
-Generate creative ideas and concepts for our own line of Alaskan themed tee shirt designs.
Artists need to be able to take constructive criticism, have good sense of humor and communication skills, and be able to work in a deadline-driven team environment. Time management and attention to detail is critical.
Applicants will need to provide a resume and portfolio or illustration work samples. Samples demonstrating typesetting skills and working with fonts are a plus.
