Administrative Assistant (Stinebaugh & Company)

Stinebaugh & Company is looking for an AMAZING Sales/Administrative Assistant to join our team! Representing over 60 nationally known and respected heating, ventilation and air conditioning manufacturers, Stinebaugh &Company has been creating comfortable and healthy environments for Alaska's institutions, businesses and industry since 1992.

Purpose of Position: The Sales/Administrative Assistant is an integral member of the sales team and office staff who is responsible for supporting the sales effort and providing backup administrative support in a fast paced, friendly, and fun professional sales office environment.

Position's Customers: Company sales engineers, management, as well as customers and vendors. Excellent customer service is a must

Essential Duties of Position:

Assist sales engineers with entire sales process, from bid to warranty.

Send bids to customers.

Process purchase orders.

Review order acknowledgements.

Monitor orders.

Obtain freight quotes. Track freight. Assist with freight issues.

Keep sales engineers on track.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of the sales process and experience in sales software programs.

Strong team player with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and positive, professional attitude.

Attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, keep confidential information secure, and to work with minimal supervision.

Understanding of freight issues and ability to communicate with freight companies and manufacturers to prevent delays.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Common sense and demonstration of next-step thinking.

Dependable with commitment to meeting various deadlines.

MS Office proficiency, including Excel and Word.

Ability to operate basic office equipment.

Prior experience working in a sales office or manufacturer's rep. office a plus.

Years of Experience/Education required to meet minimum qualifications: Four years of experience in administrative/sales support capacity is required.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment in a normal 7:30 to 4:30 work week. Additional hours may be required.

Compensation/Benefits

Initial compensation will be salary based on experience, industry knowledge and core competencies.
