MTA is currently recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Intern. The primary purpose of this position is to perform support functions and assignments for the regulatory affairs department. Under the supervision of the Regulatory Affairs staff, assists with duties related to state and federal compliance requirements in maintaining MTAs tariffs and access guides.
This is a part time position with flexible hours. The position is temporary, but comes with the opportunity of staying with MTA longer than a school semester.
Applicants currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors program for Justice, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Computer Information Office Systems or equivalent major will be given first preference.
The candidate must be organized and possess a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection. MS Office Computer skills required. Prior office experience preferred but not required.
