Alaska's #1 Raft Shop is currently seeking temporary summer employees to help with rentals and repairs. We are anticipating a very busy season this year.
Employment will run from roughly mid-March until late August/early September depending on the tempo of the season.
Basic knowledge of raft and kayak merchandise and local rivers and lakes is a plus, but not necessary.
Basic knowledge and experience with inflatable repair is a plus, but not necessary.
Attention to detail is ABSOLUTELY necessary.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
-Cheerfully greeting customers when they come into the store
-Directing customers to appropriate merchandise areas or the appropriate sales associate
-Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff
-Preparing rental packages for pickup
-Acceptance and inventory of returned rental packages
-Assisting with basic inflatable repairs
-Work on Saturday's is required
NOTE: This position requires occasional lifting and movement of heavy items.
