Position Overview:
F. Atlee Dodge Aircraft Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sales Specialist to join our small but dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have experience in aviation, logistics, purchasing, or sales. This role offers a broad variety of tasks and the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities within a stable, long-standing aviation company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales (Primary Role):
o Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and in person
o Process sales orders, take payments, package and coordinate shipping
o Maintain professionalism and resolve customer inquiries accurately
Purchasing & Inventory (Monthly):
o Order parts, supplies, and raw materials for manufacturing and office needs
o Maintain and organize purchasing records in ERP system (M1)
Website Management (Weekly):
o Update pricing, text, and product images on company website (WordPress preferred)
General Office Support (As needed):
o Collaborate with GM and Accountant; assist in various administrative duties
o Flexibility to support other roles as needed in a team environment
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Solid organizational abilities with attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe
Ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity with M1 ERP and WordPress a plus
Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly
U.S. work authorization and ability to pass a federal background check/drug screen
Aviation knowledge or experience preferred
