North Peak IT is looking for a people friendly help desk technician to provide excellent customer service to our customers. This candidate would be responsible for acting as a first contact for both business and some residential customers. You will work with other staff but mainly be semi-independent working directly with customers to provide support quickly for their computer problems. Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting, supporting, and deploying Windows and Mac workstations
- Troubleshooting, supporting, and deploying various customer software suites including but not limited to, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, and various Electronic Medical Record software
- Work with customer software vendors on troubleshooting, supporting, and deploying customer's software.
- Creating Active Directory User Accounts and do basic account setup such as group memberships and account password resets
- Troubleshooting, supporting, and deploying printers and scanners
- Troubleshooting, supporting, and deploying wired and wireless networks
- Record events into ticketing system
- Image hard drives
- Must be willing to travel within the Anchorage/Mat-Su Valley as needed
Requirements:
- FRIENDLY ATTITUDE with Excellent People skills
- Great Phone skills
- Valid Drivers License
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must pass background check
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, and Mac OS
- Ability to research, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to Multi-task
- Knowledge of network fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high stress situations with a calm attitude
