Alaska Boiler & Burner LLC is looking to add a position to its federal operations maintenance team, based in Anchorage, AK. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
This position also offers opportunities for growth and varied work experience serving other commercial customers throughout the State of Alaska.
Alaska Boiler & Burner values its employees and the work that they do. Pay is competitive and dependent on experience ranging between $25.00 and $45.00 per hour depending on experience, with annual reviews and pay increases.
We are looking to fill a position for a boiler, water heater and HVAC technician. Applicants with any combination of experience and mechanical knowledge in electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and journeymen/women credentials are encouraged to apply.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW
Maintain and repair boilers, burners, HVAC, mechanical systems, piping systems and other related equipment.
Boiler water treatment experience is a plus.
Troubleshoot and repair issues.
Compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company issued tablets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS OVERVIEW
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a basic background check to allow employee on work site.
Working knowledge of HVAC equipment repairs (boilers, burners, furnaces, water heaters).
Experience servicing boilers for commercial customers.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Customer service.
Familiarity with technical manuals.
Ability to use apps and tablet. Training provided.
Perform other duties as required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own.
Physically able to bend, reach, climb and lift up to 25+ pounds without assistance.
Some computer experience (we will train on our systems).
Good organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
