Boiler & HVAC Technician

Alaska Boiler & Burner LLC is looking to add a position to its federal operations maintenance team, based in Anchorage, AK. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

This position also offers opportunities for growth and varied work experience serving other commercial customers throughout the State of Alaska.

Alaska Boiler & Burner values its employees and the work that they do. Pay is competitive and dependent on experience ranging between $25.00 and $45.00 per hour depending on experience, with annual reviews and pay increases.

We are looking to fill a position for a boiler, water heater and HVAC technician. Applicants with any combination of experience and mechanical knowledge in electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and journeymen/women credentials are encouraged to apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

 Maintain and repair boilers, burners, HVAC, mechanical systems, piping systems and other related equipment.

 Boiler water treatment experience is a plus.

 Troubleshoot and repair issues.

 Compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

 Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company issued tablets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OVERVIEW

 Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

 Ability to pass a basic background check to allow employee on work site.

 Working knowledge of HVAC equipment repairs (boilers, burners, furnaces, water heaters).

 Experience servicing boilers for commercial customers.

 Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Customer service.

 Familiarity with technical manuals.

 Ability to use apps and tablet. Training provided.

 Perform other duties as required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

 Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment and on your own.

 Physically able to bend, reach, climb and lift up to 25+ pounds without assistance.

 Some computer experience (we will train on our systems).

 Good organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

SCHEDULE
