Diesel Mechanic
Must have equipment knowledge in loaders, Sweepers, Landscape Equipment, Pressure washing systems, Snow Pushers, Plow Trucks, Spreaders, Skid Steer, End Dumps, Side dumps, Belly Dumps.
Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
Develop technical skills through training opportunities
Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
Must have Problem Solving Skills, Attention to Detail, Interpersonal Skills and A Good Work Ethic.
DOT inspections and repairs as needed.
This position is offered at $35.00 $42.00 per hour.
Term : Year round employment Monday - Friday, could involve after hours call in’s or on job-site (field repairs) diagnostic, during winter months. Could involve OT.
Must submit to Random drug testing
Must have valid drivers license and able to pass DOT Medical
