Job description:
We are a family owned/operated business located in Anchorage since 1985 and are looking for an individual with drive and self-discipline to join the team. Candidate will have the opportunity to learn a valuable trade in the construction industry. Our ideal candidate will have a background in construction and possess a knowledge of estimating; however we will train the right person who possesses a strong work ethic and who is trustworthy and dependable.
Here is glimpse of what you will do:
Identify prospective customers and proactively work on leads.
Provide product + industry advice to current and potential customers.
Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
Perform takeoffs for projects to include subcontractor and material quotes
Work closely with the insulation team to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Attend project meetings as required.
Here is some of what you will need:
Construction Estimating experience, 1 year.
Insulation Experience, 1 year (preferred but not required)
Strong time-management, organizational and relational skills.
The physical ability to climb into attics and crawlspaces if necessary.
Comfortable working with multiple projects in a busy office.
MS Office experience
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
Pre employment drug test
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM
Occasional Saturdays
