Hello,
I am looking for a licensed General Contractor to get five properties ready to sale. I have five houses in the Big Lake area that are in need varying degrees of work done. These are nice properties that were all vandalized a couple of years ago. Two of them are lake front, and one is a duplex, and then a commercial building, all of which are in Big Lake. Another home is in Wasilla.
It is important for me to find a general contractor that has access to and good working relationships with specialty sub-contractors and can get balls rolling on multiple locations, in a quick fashion.
The different work that needs to be done is:
Plumbing (new septic systems at two locations, need inside work done at four locations.
HVAC. Along with plumbing I need a new boiler system at two locations, and repair work done at two other locations.
Electrical. One location needs the whole house done, and two need some finish work done.
Carpentry done at all locations. Varying degrees of work, needing new windows and doors, and a new roof system for one house. A large deck that was taken down needs to go back up. And some new construction at two locations.
Depending on how it goes, we could discuss finishing carpentry as the properties go up for sale.
Some landscaping work, if possible, one location is mandatory because of a.
hole that was left there by an excavation company two years ago.
Speed of work is not my priority, workmanship and quantification would be my priority. I am a very easy person to work with and know about basic carpentry and understand that I know enough to stay away from "getting in the way". I am a very blunt person I have been told, having owned my own companies all my life I know that time is money, and my work would be to make sure you know what the scope of the work being done.
I understand that you are in business to make money, as well as myself. My health makes it such that I cannot get out and do the work myself, but definitely understand that a good general contractor is worth their weight in gold! I am ready to go and have funds available.
