We are a well-established local General Contractor currently looking for a Project Manager. We specialize in New/Remodel Commercial Construction, but have a variety of projects we bid including residential work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the general contractor with project planning, coordination, and scheduling.
Research information to support other departments as needed
Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.
Attend project meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Monitor project progress and assist with updates to budgets, timelines, and other project documents and report on project progress.
Help with procurement and negotiation of contracts and purchase orders.
Perform administrative tasks such as preparing material take-offs, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
Assist with project-related paperwork, including permit applications, change orders, and approvals.
Coordinate with project team members to streamline workflows and ensure efficiency.
Assist with project closeout documentation and final inspections.
Help to ensure construction site safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimating, and project management software
Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
