Mechanical: 7.3L swap and International N9 9.3L Rebuild

I have two mechanical projects that I'm not getting to.

Our heavy equipment mechanic is out of state for another couple of months, and I'd like these completed before his return timeline.

He is a very experienced master mechanic, which I will have you speak with him to get an idea of your knowledge for this type of work, before you begin any work.

Looking for a capable and experienced mechanic for these jobs.

I am not interested in someone who is not completely confident in their ability to perform the work.

I prefer that you have your own tools, but my shop should have most everything if you do not. I just haven't got around to organizing it lately.

I have a large shop, and I have telescoping forklifts to assist through the stages.

7.3L swap includes:

-Pulling donor motor out of a running F250. To make this easier, plan is to drop the front axle/suspension and cut the core support off (front end body parts have already been removed). Other option is to unbolt the cab and we'll lift it with a telescoping forklift (seats are gone already).

-Pulling old motor and installing donor into a Ford Box truck. Box Truck is NOT a cab over. The engine sticks out the front, so there's lots of access after removing the hood.

-Might still be able to push this into the shop using a forklift, or if the weather is good, it'd be best done outside.

International N9 9.3L Rebuild:

-This is in a newer Dump Truck where a crack is slowly seeping oil (in a non-critical spot). I already have a used/tested block for it.

-Would like to swap blocks, which will realistically turn into an overhaul. Motor will realistically be at a machine shop during the overhaul, so I'll need to schedule with them to create a timeline that doesn't drag on.

-A sensor was already pulled from under the valve covers, so this truck is now stationary.

-Motor will need pulled outdoors, then motor rebuilt indoors.

-Engine sticks out, so it'll be easy access after removing the hood.

If you'd like some more work, after or in-between these jobs, we have various other smaller jobs: dropping fuel tanks for flushing and pump swaps, starter swaps, suspension, welding, etc.

We also have various hydraulic related repairs, such as cylinder seal kit rebuilds.

Piece rate compensation to be discussed.
