Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced PART TIME pet groomer (1-3 days a week and possible fill ins if needed) for mobile pet grooming service in the valley! Do you like to work independently? Do you have a passion for working with pets? Do you have experience in grooming?
We provide the very modern and top of the line all-wheel drive mobile grooming salon van and all supplies and tools necessary. The van salon is currently getting converted and we are planning the grand opening at the end of September 2024. We are looking for an individual that would like to earn top pay and work independently in the mobile salon. Part time shift available. We use natural products, and our focus is on compassion, convenience, and community. This is a commission-based position, and the commission percentage is based on experience.
Minimum Requirements
- MUST HAVE previous experience in pet grooming
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle pets gently and with compassion
- Certification from a reputable grooming school is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record as well as the ability to drive LARGE van
- Good attitude, dependable, able to lift min 50lbs
- Drug free workplace.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report them to the appropriate staff
