Are you an experienced carpenter ready to step into a leadership role? Or a seasoned project manager with a strong carpentry background? MKD’s Property Solutions & Installations, LLC is looking for a Project Manager / Lead Carpenter to join our growing team in Anchorage, AK!
We specialize in high-quality residential renovations—kitchens, bathrooms, painting, and more. We need a skilled individual who can lead hands-on, manage projects from start to finish, and train the next generation of tradespeople.
What You’ll Do:
Manage residential remodeling projects from bid to completion
Lead a small team on-site as the go-to carpenter and supervisor
Create accurate bids and estimates (materials, labor, timelines)
Train and mentor team members in both carpentry and project workflows
Coordinate with clients, subs, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
Maintain quality, timelines, and budgets on multiple concurrent projects
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of hands-on carpentry experience (framing, finish, drywall, decks, tile, cabinets, etc.)
3+ years of experience in project management, estimation, or jobsite leadership
Ability to read plans, scope jobs, and break them down into actionable steps
Strong leadership, communication, and teaching abilities
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and own tools
Knowledge of construction codes and safety best practices
Tech-savvy (comfortable with project management or estimating software)
PMP certification a plus, but not required
