Looking to hire a Residential APPRENTICE Electrician with a minimum of 1,000 experience. Must be able to perform new installs for both Residential & Commercial jobs while working directly under the supervision of a Journeyman electrician.
Must be a team player and able to take/follow instructions of job supervisor.
Our schedule is Monday thru Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please submit resume. Looking to hire in immediately.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Residential APPRENTICE Electrician's License required at all times and must be kept current and in good standing.
Must be able to run a crew.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to use power tools, hand tools and equipment safely & efficiently & have trade related hand tools.
Maintain excellent driving record.
Maintain clean and organized truck.
Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
Ability to work with little to no supervision.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Loading/unloading/restocking of truck with necessary equipment/materials to complete day's jobs.
Oversee proper set up and protection at job site to ensure a safe worksite and customer satisfaction.
Review of job packet with Foreman/Field Manager to understand necessary actions and formulate plans.
Ability to layout a house to NEC & per supervisor; complete installation of electrical wire & components.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to improve skills.
Following company guidelines for safety, timecards and any other management policies.
Maintain team atmosphere and be willing and ready to help out on other job sites as necessary.
Proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials in company dumpsters.
Daily reporting of project/issues/hours to Field manager.
Physical Requirements:
75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools.
Ability to lift 75 or more pounds multiple times a day as necessary.
