We are looking for a highly skilled, multi-faceted construction finisher to help wrap up the final details of a new custom home on Lake Washington. This beautiful modern home is located on one of the most desirable waterfront markets in the country.

The ideal candidate will join the team to complete the final details. Much of the finish work has been installed, but the specialty locations still need attention.

The ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys high end craftsmanship and efficiently problem solving to complete the goal at hand. The ability to fluidly work with different mediums and methods involving cold rolled steel, aluminum, stainless steel, poplar, cedar, IPE, porcelain, glass, granite and concrete is preferred.

The list below is not exhaustive, but you should have a basic working knowledge of most of the tasks required, and the ability to perform at an expert level for a few of them:

-Green roof with IPE zen garden deck, inset custom stainless planters and Japanese maple trees.

-Two stories of hand rubbed blackened steel staircases with single piece porcelain tread inlays.

-Installation of made-to-order tile with floating vanity mirror, infinity wall and slip matched walnut cabinets.

-Template, coordinate the fabrication and install blackened steel fireplace surround.

-Custom built-in Aquarium

-Walnut elevator panels with saw kerf design.

-Two stories of glass floor panels looking down into water fall and reflecting pool.

-Installation of remaining interior doors, trim, shelves etc.

-Installation of plumbing trim and fixtures

-Installation of door knobs, cabinet pulls and misc hardware

-Drywall patch as necessary

-Final HVLP paint pickup work for remaining trim

-Final Airless spray work for remaining walls and ceiling.

The position is expected to last for the next 3-6 months, although there is some flexibility depending on your schedule and desire to work on our other light commercial projects. We will fly you down to Washington, provide you with a bedroom in in a recently remodeled apartment and a vehicle.

Please respond with a description of your experience, why you would be a good fit for the position, and the best way to contact you. You are welcome to include a resume as well. Recent references and background check are required.

If you don’t feel that you have all the experience noted above, but are highly skilled in one or more areas, please feel free to reply.
