Local repossession company has an opening for a tow truck driver to assist in recovering vehicles out for repossession. This driver must have knowledge of Anchorage and the surrounding areas, and have a clean driving record.
All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screening.
Some of the qualifications of our ideal candidate are:
· Clean driving record
· Ability to properly read a VIN
. Minimum 23 years of age.
. Good communication skills and attention to detail
. Able to lift 30lbs and more at times
. Computer & phone literate, as well as proficient at reading, writing and spelling.
DESCRIPTION:
· Check over tow truck daily to ensure truck is in working order and you have all proper equipment to repossess vehicles.
· Fuel truck up using the trucks provided fuel card and personal pin.
· Check addresses using the provided applications.
· Drive to location of vehicle either by application use or given instruction.
· Repossess vehicle once the unit is found and you have verified the VIN.
· Check the last six of the VIN number referencing the repo order before pulling away with unit.
· Check if vehicle is front wheel drive (FWD), Rear wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). If vehicle determined to be AWD the dollies must be used.
· Report repossession to local police department.
· Tow unit back to yard once collateral was reported to the police.
Bonus incentives are included for all collateral recovered!
Pay is weekly.
