EXPERIENCED DRIVERS ARE PREFERRED. However, where experience lacks, this position can offer a less qualified applicant an excellent growth opportunity, provided they have a strong work ethic. Salary starts at $20/hour DOE. License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)

Applicants should be honest, hard-working, sharp-sighted, motivated, reliable and dependable. Familiarity with the Valley, a plus. Sure, it's not the most glamorous position, but we are a great company to work for, and the right applicant will enjoy the work.

Full-time work during spring, summer. Part-time to full-time work during late fall, winter. Some Saturday work in the summer time.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must be able to lift 75+ lbs frequently

Follow applicable traffic laws and maintain good driving record. (Driving record verified.)

Load and unload portable toilets to/from service truck

Tie down and/or secure (with sandbags when necessary) portable toilets at time of delivery

Remove waste material from portable toilets with servicing equipment. Use cleaning products, vacuums, hoses, and brushes for cleaning/servicing portable toilets

Maintain servicing products in portable toilets as needed: (a) keep portable toilets stocked with two-to-three full rolls of toilet paper, depending on toilet model. At time of servicing, if a roll is depleted by half or more, replace with new roll of toilet paper in attempt to maintain full rolls. Keep depleted rolls; and (b) check and keep hand sanitizer dispensers filled and operational

In cooperation with appropriate personnel, drivers are to determine the best, most efficient service route(s) for the Service Schedule.

Keep the service truck and associated equipment clean and in working order, including but not limited to washing the service truck. Report mechanical problems with the service truck and equipment to the appropriate personnel. See also, Truck Inspection Sheet

In the shop, keep toilet servicing supplies stocked and organized. Notify the appropriate personnel when servicing supplies are depleted and in need of re-order

Beginning of Day: (a) compare Service Schedule to Wall Calendar, noting differences on Service Schedule; (b) get keys needed for various customers; (c) take tools, parts and/or cleaners needed to repair damaged toilets and/or damaged toilet accessories; (d) check truck oil; (e) start Honda motor to test; (f) check truck tires and lights; (g) once every week drain pump valves; (h) once every two (2) weeks run diesel through pump; (i) once every month change Honda oil. End of Day: (a) gas up truck; (b) dump holding tank; (c) fill tank with 125-155 gallons of water at Ron Nelson’s house off of Robin Lane; (d) replace trash bags; (e) restock rags, toilet paper, sanitizer, disinfectant, and cleaning supplies for truck; (f) reconcile Service Schedule with Wall Calendar; marking items off the Wall Calendar when completed; (g) return customer keys to key box; (h) return gas card

WINTER MONTHS (October through April): (a) use hot water from shop to fill tank water

(b) add Blue Dye to water tank mix – READ BRAND INSTRUCTIONS; (c) mix two (2) bags of salt per every 60 gallons of water to tank water solution; (d) remove any accumulated snow from the tops of the handicap toilets, both on the routes and in yard

Work Location: One office location; you work in the field.
