TOUR GUIDES NEEDED
Anchorage, Alaska
Employment: Seasonal, Full time or Part time
Join our team of professional and passionate Tour Guides in Anchorage, Alaska! Turnagain Arm Shuttle and Alaska's Finest Tours Cruises are looking for individuals with great personalities, eager to assist guests and excited about Alaskan history, culture and wildlife.
As a Tour Driver, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and enthusiasm for Alaska with our guests while driving a 14-passenger van around Anchorage, Turnagain Arm and Matanuska Valley. In addition to driving, the position includes maintaining a daily driver's log and vehicle inspection report, as well as keeping the vehicles clean for a professional appearance.
Position Requirements:
· 40 - 48 hours a week or part - time
· Chauffeur's license or ability to obtain one
· Experience in hospitality/preferred but will train
· Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
· Valid driver's license
· Clean driving record
· Positive/upbeat attitude
· Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly in English
· Passion for Alaska history, culture, and wildlife
· Pass a background check
· Pass a drug test
· Ability to maintain a time schedule
All duties and responsibilities must be completed in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures including safety procedures and local, State and federal law regulations.
If you do not have a chauffeur's license it will cost, you $60 for a background check and $60 for the license. You will be reimbursed at the end of the season on September 15th.
