Provide sound educational leadership and guidance to students; apply the Montessori philosophy to all aspects of your day (training and orientation provided), including in the classroom, at recess and during lunchtime, as well as during after school programs and break camps as assigned. Assist with the coordination of all programs as assigned, including preparation and set up for activity/lesson planning, organization, and safety.
Collaborate with all staff for best practices of behavioral management, social-emotional learning and support, practical and communication skills, enrichment activities, and community service; clean and organize school environments as assigned and after program activities. Complete classroom and materials preparation projects and general operational projects as assigned, indoors and outside as needed. Assist with outdoor environmental care, including but not limited to yard work, playground care, and snow removal. Serve as a classroom substitute as scheduled and utility staff member for activities including but not limited to: recess, lunch, carline assistance, office tasks, cleaning/organization duties, and snack/lunch prep assistance in the kitchen. Promote the mission of Spruce Tree Montessori School; serve as an ambassador for the vision of Spruce Tree Montessori School; perform job duties as listed in attached job description
