Budtender, this job includes customer service skills, product knowledge, product inventory/restocking, and the ability to work with a cannabis point of sale. A successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, record keeping abilities, a friendly/approachable demeanor, a quick working pace, and a willingness to continually learn more about the industry and its processes.
This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the High Vibes company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
Ability to greet and help customers make informed purchases about the products we sell.
Ability to package accurate cannabis weights for the customer.
Ability to handle cash sales and change. Will have to preform daily cash-drops.
Keep accurate inventory using company systems and protocols.
Maintain a clean, safe environment inside the retail and stockroom.
Maintain quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product.
Ability to broaden cannabis knowledge to facilitate customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Holds basic knowledge of cannabis.
Work history showing progressive responsibility and willingness to accept additional projects or challenges.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize.
Ability to focus and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
Physical Requirements; Extended time sitting, walking, bending, standing and reaching.
Clarity of vision at every distance with good depth perception for performing assigned tasks.
Job Requirements:
Must be 21+ years of age per accordance with Alaska State Law.
Must have an active Alaska Marijuana Handlers Permit.
Must be able to maintain compliance with AMCO standards.
Ability to occasionally work flexible hours including, but not limited to, holidays and before/after normal shift hours.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have good personal hygiene.
Hours:
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work Daytime (9:15am-5:15pm) or Nighttime (5:15pm-1:15am) shifts. We are offering part-time and full-time opportunities; selection will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay:
$16.00-$18.00/Hour or D.O.E - Raises will be evaluated by an employee's ability to perform at and above company standards.
