Immediately hiring a Full Time Assistant Delivery Driver/Furniture Installer.
This position involves assisting with the safe and timely delivery, assembly, and furniture installation in customer offices.
Applicants must have a valid Alaska driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be comfortable navigating Fairbanks under various road conditions using company box trucks or vans.
The role requires the ability to read diagrams for assembly instructions, strong problem-solving skills, a professional demeanor, and excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Job Duties will include:
Organize and deliver products in a timely fashion.
Loading/Unloading furniture at job sites.
Assist in assembling furniture/ Mounting products to walls (workstations, systems furniture/cubicles, desks, chairs, cabinets, et cetera)
Mount cabinets, bookshelves, and tack boards. Install furniture according to blueprints and/or job tickets.
Repair furniture as needed.
Work with job tickets to mobilize installation projects.
Prep and clean job sites
Maintain a safe clean workspace in trucks and warehouse area.
This is a full-time position, with Wages starting at $23/HR, 8 am-5 pm Monday -Friday.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Alaska Driver’s license & Clean driving record
Must have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.
Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical.
Experience/Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
