JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Technician is responsible for retail sales and customer service duties for Browns Hill Quarry (BHQ). The Retail Sales Technician will provide professional services while delivering an excellent customer service experience for our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Greet and assist retail customers.

Provide good customer service.

Process invoices, work orders and post cash receipts.

Make accurate, fast cost calculations.

Provide customers with pricing quotes.

Review customer invoicing and statements for accuracy.

Allocate finance charges and mail to customers monthly.

Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly.

Perform regular aged-receivables customer collections per company protocol.

Schedule delivery work orders and dispatch/communicate with Delivery Driver.

Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, business partners, and clients via written and verbal communication methods.

Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, find ratios/percentages).

Ability to work independently and work cooperatively with others.

Ability to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a friendly and positive manner.

Knowledgeable with standard computer software, application programs and e-mail.

Typing 40 wpm and 10-key by touch.

Ability to use judgment and discretion.

Ability to handle stressful situations and effectively plan and organize duties to meet deadlines.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.

Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Basic knowledge of business computers and standard applications such as MS Office preferred.

Ability to pass a drug, driving record, and background screening.
