Northside Performance Automotive is seeking a Full-time experienced Automotive Service Technician A - C level. We are a shop located in Fairbanks AK. You will be working with an experienced crew and a well supplied shop. This is not an entry level position. ASE certifications are appreciated but not required. 3 years experience minimum. Accurate and timely work is expected.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various issues with gas & diesel vehicles.
- Skilled in performing brake repairs and suspension work.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
Note: Must provide your own tools. The shop does provide special equipment/tools to complete repairs on various repairs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read work orders or receive instructions from Management to determine vehicle work requirements
- Use precision instruments, hand, and power tools
- Keep a clean and clear workstation
- Diagnose efficiently
- Make sure weekly completed labor quota is met
- Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule offered:
8 hour shift with 1 hour lunch. (ex. 8:00am to 5:00pm) This job is Monday through Friday, weekends as needed for year round work. Must have the ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
