Soldotna Optometry Clinic is currently hiring for an entry level technician position. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/character attributes: punctuality, a dedication to excellence, a positive outlook, a willingness to learn and adapt to new things, familiarity with computers and the ability to type at a reasonable pace, the desire to work forty hours per week, good attention to detail, the ability to function well in a team environment, and most important… a good sense of humor. While we take patient care seriously, the work environment is a laid back one, low stress and we like to have fun. As mentioned previously, this is an entry level position with a starting rate of $16.00/hr. No prior Optometry experience is necessary, we will do any required training.
