Interested in experiencing rural Alaska? NANA Management Services is currently seeking a Food Service Manager for the Lower Kuskoskwim School District (LKSD) based in Bethel, Alaska.
While Bethel is home to more than 6,400 residents, the LKSD provides educational services to more than 4,300 students. Bethel offers several locally owned restaurants, a movie theatre, and ease of access to the great Alaskan outdoors. Bethel is the hub to forty-eight communities; The Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) provides healthcare services with forty-one clinics across the region.
The Food Service Manager will play a vital role in providing up to 23,000 meals a week for twenty-eight schools across the district. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be providing logistical support in ensuring supplies and food product are tracked and shipped to each school.
The successful candidate is eligible for relocation assistance. The position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. A 401k retirement plan and paid time off (PTO accrual).
