We're looking for a dedicated Evening Cook who is eager to uphold our commitment to excellence and ensure the happiness of our guests through culinary delights. Position: Evening Cook
Schedule: 7 days a week, Last week of May-First week of September
Salary Range: $4,500 per month (DOE), includes room and board, plus a share in the lodge tip pool.
Responsibilities Include:
Ordering lodge foods through US Foods for the Original Lodge, including invoicing.
Providing the Lodge Manager with additional weekly food requirement lists.
Preparing daily appetizers, warm bread, salads, dinners, and desserts.
Making guest lunches and packing coolers.
Cleaning, storing leftovers, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.
Managing propane tanks for patio and barbecue.
Assist in maintaining staff laundry and bathroom areas.
Skills / Qualifications:
2 year responsible positions as Kitchen Manager or Executive Cook. Demonstrate quality written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work long hours as required including weekends.
Will have a positive attitude, professional manner & appearance at all times.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
Sets an example of sophistication, maturity and professionalism for other staff to base their conduct upon.
We require drug testing, corporate orientation, first aid and CPR training. All of our positions require the above duties/skills and qualifications but are not limited to those listed above.
