Position: Morning Cook
Hours: Range between 2 am – 1pm, depending on breakfast schedules and responsibilities
Schedule: 7 days a week, Last week of May through First Week of September
Salary Range: $4,500 per month (DOE), includes room and board, vehicle use, plus a share in the
lodge tip pool.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with the fishing schedule and client leave times, arrive as scheduled and
fully attired in Jimmie Jack shirt, black pants (no holes/tears), and soft-soled shoes.
Ensure guests leave on time each day.
Efficient setup of the breakfast bar with attention to detail and guest preferences.
Prompt restock of coffee and tea area each day.
Cooking guest breakfasts according to the weekly breakfast menu including guest’s
choice of eggs, meat, and/or toast if applicable to the menu each day.
Ensure fresh fruit and oatmeal are available for sit down and to go.
Ensure to go breakfasts are prepped for guests to grab and go if they request a to go meal.
Assisting the dinner chef with crafting desserts upon request.
Maintaining kitchen and pantry cleanliness and organization, ensuring all counters are
sanitized, and dishes/pans are properly cleaned and stored.
Regularly updating the grocery shopping list with necessary items.
Contributing to staff laundry upkeep by keeping areas clean and ensuring all items are put
away.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in breakfast or general culinary roles.
Strong proficiency in baking and breakfast item preparation.
Ability to work independently, efficiently and keep to a schedule.
High commitment to cleanliness and maintaining hygienic food service areas.
Team spirit and dedication to contributing positively to the collective staff
responsibilities.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure
with minimal supervision; work long hours as required, including weekends.
Will have a positive attitude, professional manner & appearance at all times.
Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
Sets an example of sophistication, maturity and professionalism for other staff to base
their conduct upon.
Passion for hospitality and providing an incredible guest experience, above and beyond
making excellent food.
We require drug testing, corporate orientation, first aid and CPR training. All of our positions
require the above duties/skills and qualifications but are not limited to those listed above.
