Job Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday or weekends and evenings as needed.
Job Summary: We are a 5,000 sq. ft. hydroponic marijuana cultivation in Homer, Alaska. We are looking for a full-time cultivation technician. A good understanding and knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques is desired, but not strictly necessary. We can train an eager learner to perform all the necessary tasks. Attention to detail , a willingness to work hard, be passionate about cultivating top-quality cannabis and working well as a team are musts.
Job responsibilities include:
- Plant maintenance (deleafing, trimming and general health upkeep, etc.)
- Help with planting and harvesting of cannabis as required.
- Help with implementing our pest and disease control strategies.
- Learning to work with our nutrient program, to include weekly reservoir changes and scheduled nutrient adjustments.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
- Reliability: Being on time, dependable transportation , fulfilling your contracted hours in full, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An Alaska Marijuana Handlers Permit, or the ability to obtain one quickly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
