D&L Construction is hiring a full time crew member to work at the Homer Transfer Facility. The facility processes on average 700 tons of household waste, 30 tons of recyclables and 800cy of construction debris monthly.
Primary responsibilities and job duties include:
⢠Process incoming commercial and public disposal material
⢠Sort out and relocate non-appropriate material
⢠Maintain a clean facility by way of litter collection and sweeping
⢠Assist public with information and direction
⢠Perform minor maintenance around the facility and on equipment
⢠Operate equipment - Bobcat Skidsteer, front end loader, stationary crane, compacting bailer
This position requires working on Sundays during the summer, completing a pre-employment drug screen and possessing a valid Alaska driver license. The pay is $18.00 per hour.
