We are seeking someone who is passionate about patient care, growing our business and strives for excellence in all that you do. This position is the primary touchstone of the office, managing patients first impressions, check in/out, scheduling, and answering the phones.

While prior experience is important, we are willing to train the right person.

Job Description:

- The Patient Coordinator assesses client needs and schedules appointments accordingly; maintains a full schedule and effective patient flow; and makes appointment confirmation and recall reminders

- The Patient Coordinator is responsible for checking in and out all patients and collecting fees at time of service

- Remains professional under pressure of time constraints and unexpected customer situations

Competencies:

- Communication Skills

Provide a positive patient experience that begins as soon as the patient first contacts the clinic. Delivers clear, concise information with enthusiasm and passion that demonstrates knowledge of the business, products, and/or services.

- Engagement and Drive

Must be able to work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace. Effectively handling multiple tasks and patients at one time, while focusing on the individual patient experience. Takes initiative to work independently with HEC vision in mind. Motivates self and others to further education and skills.

- Technical Skills

Candidates must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Previous experience with electronic health records (EHR) or similar systems is ideal.

- Team Player

Must exhibit the ability to work well within the team environment, supporting all aspects of the practice and delivering on the patient experience. Actively participate in weekly team meetings and support overall Team goals.
