Smith Gardens, Inc. has been growing premium annuals and perennials for over 117 years and we currently have a position open for a seasonal merchandiser. Work schedule would include weekdays and weekends and daily work hours are flexible.
Qualified candidates will be working at the Kenai Home Depot in the Garden Center as a Vendor/Merchandiser.
Job duties include: unloading racks of seasonal color, staging displays, filling tables with product, watering plants, removing dead and unsellable product and other basic merchandising duties. Must have strong communications skills and work well with other merchandisers, store associates as well as customers. Candidate must also have reliable transportation to store, ability to roll racks of product around garden center, lift trays of product off racks and work in adverse weather conditions.
Position starts May 1st and runs through early July.
