White Spruce Trailer Sales is searching for a high-level mechanic who is familiar with trailers and tractors. The perfect candidate has great attention to detail and is well-organized. The perfect candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where each day brings a different task list.
Primary Duties include repairing and servicing trailers. Welding of steel AND aluminum is required. Diesel engine experience is required.
All tools and equipment will be provided.
This is a year-round, full time position with benefits.
Compensation:
DOE (starting at $25/per)
Service Commissions (up to an additional $12/per)
For the right candidate, pay can be flexible
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Some weekends
Position will be scheduled for 40 hours/week.
Requirements:
Steel welding
Aluminum welding
Trailer-specific repairs to include hubs and bearings
Electrical knowledge to include trouble-shooting
Diesel engine knowledge
Clean Driving Record - background check will be performed
Current Driver’s License
21 years or older
Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs, kneel, bend, squat and stand without discomfort.
