DESCRIPTIONJob Summary:Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to engine products at the customer’s site.We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Avondale, AZ). will make an impact in the following ways:We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitve pay and benefits!

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:RESPONSIBILITIES(Advanced):

Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools

Larger more complicated engine rebuilds

Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS2 JSO's required per month2 Find it Fix it's require per monthVolunteer EEEC hours required

A current valid license is required for this role

This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

3 years driving experience

This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use

Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

Education, Licenses, Certifications:Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionLocally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Significant field service work experienceExpert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsCustomer service experienceExperience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)Compensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
