Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to actively and successfully support the end-to-end product design, manufacture and commercial processes; managing customer requirements and specifications, daily coordination with customer and liaising with the relevant departments to provide technical and commercial support to the Sales Account Manager and other business functions.
Essential Duties
In this role you will be learning along-side Sales, Production and Engineering teams during a variety of tasks and such requirements as:
Able to work in both production and office setting on a full-time basis.
Managing action plans with internal stakeholders to support customer requests and activities.
Actively prepare and participate in customer calls by creating presentations, providing necessary information, and methodically documenting meeting notes and actions items.
Increasing knowledge of products and manufacturing processes to support the organization (Sales / Customer Service / Product management / Quality).
Developing customer relationships to strengthen customer engagement on a commercial and technical level.
Engaging in project related activity with internal colleagues relating to product specifications, production yield, engineering projects, quality assurance, statistical data collection and assessment.
Acting as a direct liaison between the plant and the customer for topics related to production status and critical customer information.
Data gathering activities to support customer requirements.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Material Science, Ceramics or Semiconductor Processing a plus.
Experience in a high-tech industry such as Aerospace, Automotive, etc., is preferred. Demonstratable equivalent experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
Strong communication skills and experience working with demanding customers is important. Must be able to interface with customers and internal team members.
Must be reliable working within business hours on site and able to adapt working schedule to customer escalations when necessary.
Experience with engineering drawings and manufacturing processes a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to take detailed notes, create action lists, and keep team members on task.
Following strict safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
Excellent organizational skills and able to coordinate multiple team members and activities.
Language/Math/Computer Skills
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and government officials. Ability to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with all levels within the organization. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence.
- The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, the individual should also be proficient in ERP system such as SAP, CRM systems and possess intermediate to advanced skill level with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Additional experience in data management and analysis software would be beneficial.
Safety/Security/Environmental
Actively participate in all Environmental, Health and Safety aspects of the plant.
Work closely with the EHS coordinator to assure environmental compliance is maintained at all times
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain awareness and compliance with all current local, state, and federal Environmental regulations, such as all regulations governing the handling and disposal of Hazardous waste.
Comply with all Security policies as outlined by the company standards and local, state and federal laws, as well as Safety policies.
Sign and adhere to NDA covering sensitive information that a successful candidate will be exposed to both internally and externally.
