Materials Process Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Materials Process Engineer to analyze, research, design, and develop cutting-edge materials and their fabrication processes. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing materials for use in a variety of engineering applications, including structures, systems, and subsystems.Key Responsibilities:Innovate and Design: Utilize your expertise in chemistry, physics, and material behavior to create specifications for metallic, non-metallic, and composite materials. Your designs will directly impact the performance and reliability of our engineering projects.Analyze and Optimize: Conduct thorough analyses of material properties and processing methods. Develop design allowables and quality engineering specifications that ensure our products meet the highest standards.Conduct Material Evaluations: Engage in failure analysis of components and systems, predict material life cycles, and define requirements to enhance product durability and efficiency.Collaborate and Review: Work closely with subcontractors to review and approve material processing procedures, ensuring alignment with our quality and performance standards.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
