Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical estimating, particularly within commercial, data center, industrial, or high-tech construction environments. While mechanical estimating is the core focus, experience with electrical and plumbing systems (MEP) is a strong advantage. Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of mechanical cost estimates across all project phases—from conceptual through detailed design.Deliver accurate and timely cost plans and estimates to support client decision-making.Collaborate with design and project teams to provide cost input during feasibility studies, procurement planning, and value engineering.Manage the full procurement lifecycle: pre-qualification, bid analysis, reporting, and contract documentation.Conduct cost checks, valuations, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.Produce and present monthly cost reports and final accounts to clients.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and cost consultants.Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and best practices.Analyze historical cost data and market trends to inform future estimates.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to validate pricing and scope.Support risk and contingency analysis during preconstruction phases.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
